DC++ hubs on MTNL discussion

now basically when people ask as "why ther r no hubs on MTNL for sharing as in cable nets ".. the ans remain that th hubs r ther coz of speed thing (u get more speed then at what u browse internet ).....in case of ADSL there is nothing more achieved


Hoever i think if u r in same IPs subnet then it might work as for high speed .... 120.255.255.254 will have better speed with 120.255.255.253 has anyone tried it yet??

ADSL is completely diff technology....... it doesnt work like cable net...... so cant do dc++

what is DC++ file sharing .. the same u can do by 120.00.00.00

Data transfer within mtnl's own network will be counted towards your bill and you won't be able to download at greater than your line speed. No point.

u looking at it frm cable net point of view........ where u hav routers on top of buildings connecting LAN cables everywhere connecting at 100Mbps....... where u can goto Windows Network and find tons of PCs waiting to be explored.......
This is ADSL....... where each subscriber is connected to MTNL thru their unique telephone line using ADSL technology on copper lines........... there is no sharing of net/bandwidth here....... no PC's r connected to each other....... everyone is connected to only MTNL......
ur just comparing IP addresses........
Also cable net connects at 100Mbps or 1Gbps....... I dont know wht it is these days since my Pacenet days....... but say MTNL's network also connects with ur IP address theory...... but we r still connected in router at 1 or 2Mbps....... then tell me how will u get more speed??
