DD Direct - any users pl. share experience!

We have Tata Sky at home but we are fed up of waiting for FTA channels to materialise - so we are adding on DD Direct also. Any one has experience on

1) How is signal strength/ reception?
2) Where can we buy the dish/ STB? I have seen India's best technology for DTH terminals from MCBS - are their any other manufacturers/ distributors. The equipment is not available in large electronic stores...
3) Any Dish/STB make you would recommend?

Where are you located. You can find Dish/STB at 100s of stores in Delhi. Visit Lajpat Rai market. They are available from Rs. 1600 upto Rs. 2800.

In Mumbai you can find it in Grant Road. Reach Grant Road station by local train, go out to the eastern side and there are many electronics shops. There are many chinese sets marketted by Indian companies.I would recommend you to go for "Pagaria"

meaculpa, dont go to the grantroad area ( actually hes asking you to go to lamington street area ) alone. Its not safe for women!
