Dell customer service

I must wait for atleast 15 to 30 minutes in the phone before Dell people can talk to me, very horrible
 
This is the case with many service providers..cant help.. :wall:
 
Dell is hell .... guess the saying is true ... :P
 
i have made three calls to Dell for customer support purposes. all the three times i got connected pretty fast.
 
yeah r on the slower side..if u r calling em to order a computer then u get connected under a min but if u r calling em for after sales service then it takes more than 15 mins..last time i had to wait for more than 30 mins and eventually disconnected it.
 
the three times i called for support...2 times it was to report my dead DVD drive. 1 time was to ask for the LCD which was damaged in the office fire. :P i had no accidental insurance so the 5 year warranty i had was worthless.all the three times i got connected rather fast. landed with a polite girl on all the three times...
 
Dell is the only company offering on site service, people come to our home and repair. so, we have to go for dell. In Apple and HP I think we have to take the laptop to some service centre. So people in areas other than metros dont buy other than dell
 
i have to place an order for Dell vostro for a cousin. any ideas on what is the best way to go ahead with this? i mean any of you have a dell representative contact who would want to get this order?
