i have been using the 200 mbps plan without an issue for over 1.5 years.
My main reason for preferring it over Jio/others was the consistent 230-240 mbps speeds.
BUt now for last few weeks i am consistenly getting speeds below 200 mbps.
I thought it might be an issue of saturation with new connections.
But it seems like its not that.

So my question is what speeds do you get with 200 mbps plan??
has airtel changed something in their backend that might have caused it?

damn ,those are some good speeds.
i used to get those occassionaly. But now its almost as if the connection has a hardcap of 200 mbps ,and it never goes above that

See if you have IPv6 and IPv4 enabled and working properly. I get almost double speeds on tests which end up using IPv4 and IPv6.

i used to get these speeds even on ipv4 ,currently my ipv6 is disabled for some reason . i have made a complaint.
i am getting lower speeds even on steam downloads, does ipv6 effect steam download speeds??

No, I am getting more than plan speeds i.e 360Mbps on 300Mbps plan.

I noticed the same
infact the upload speeds have gotten weird lately.
The engineer of my area told that they switched from Huawei's OLT to Nokia OLTs and they are configured in a way to hardcap the speed.
I noticed this hardcap back in May. I used to get around 67MB/s when downloading stuff from steam, now i hardly touch 25MB/s on downloads.
