Difference between PPPoE Mode and Bridge Mode

PPPoe has lots of advantages over bridge mode..PPpoE supports multiple connectivity. it s more secure one...where bridge mode less secured.. virus problem occurs more for bridge connection..

How can Dialling(dialing from OS) be more riksy than PPPoE Mode(Always On) ? I think its other way round. In always on mode the chances of infecting is more, right?
If someone is on Limited Plan then its way risky. What if he forgets to swtich off the Modem? A Hefty Bill for sure!!!!
I am not concerned about virus as i am a Linux user.
Can i keep both the settings at the same time in the Modem COnf Page,like making a connection under Bridge Mode and one under PPoE Mode and use it at the same time? Is it possible? If Yes, then the net will be connected with PPOE Mode. But what will happen if i dial it under OS with pon dsl-provider?

as far as i know u cant use Bridge Mode and one under PPoE Mode both of them simulteniosly....i m also a linux user...
