I am not getting what Flipkart is trying to do by comparing their self branded products with products from partner companies. They cannot survive by annoying major brands in the market. It is just stupidity. Sure sell your own products. But charts like above are more suited to manufacturers not online stores.

They have in house tablet which shows up as 'Recommended for you' when you browse for tabs, so why not a router

Tablet is a consumer device. You interact with it permanently. So you think more about it. Brand matters as most people would prefer to stick with known companies.
Routers are different. People do not think much before buying a router. They would buy what is cheap. Once setup and configured... no one would look at it again
And of course, recommending their own branded tablet when you look at competition product is similarly bad. Noticed it recently lol.
If I was a brand selling my products on Flipkart, I would disconnect immediately and release one of those asshole press releasing warning customers to buy anything of my brand from them. lol.
