Jio is getting disgusting day by day. Really tired of this bullshit right now. In my area from 1.5years approx i'm listening same from customer care executive that they are working to solve the issue. But reality us nothing is upgrading for internet quality. In day time jio is running like i'm using 2g.. Really so disgusting jio i can't even do my works.. Tried so many complaint but i don't think they are taking any of that... So this is it. I'm quitting the service...

Hey... I like the heading of this post. So.. What really was the issue, and how did you test and isolated the cause of it?

I mean if your work or you really depend on the internet a Mobile data connection shouldn't be your main gateway anyways (unless you really don't have any other option), FTTH is far superior for homes where you uses are a bit more heavy.

As for the heading, BBSR did improve quite a bit in the last 2 years, which area are you from?

My experience with Jio is somewhat strange...in non peak hours , sometimes it shows no internet connection ( barely 0.2 mbps speed ) and just after 1-2 hours it shows 20-30mbps speed ...
Airtel is somewhat consistent...speeds between 2 mbps to 15 mbps ( non peak times).

I have shifted to other part of the state for study purposes and only Airtel and Vi work here, jio barely gives anything inside my home here, not even calls work, data speed are in the neighborhood of 5 - 10 mbps (outside), Airtel and Vi are 4x better here. I had to opt for FTTH to call here, wireless is not gonna be the solution to everything ever, might come really close to wired but at last hardline wires are the backbone of pretty much everything communication related.

i carry my Huawei LTE router when I go to remote areas, i think part of the problem is with jio latching onto shit bands (though not completely sure about it)

Some lte routers like Huawei B525 with custom firmware and Mikrotik have band and cell tower locking and it saved me, it was a pain to find a decent band and cell tower id though.
