Dish TV in Railways and Cars. What about Tata Sky?

^Yes I agree with u. Instead of wasting money in this project, they should concentrate in improving their services and add more channels.

Ok now i got it!! I think the channel will be controlled by a central server/person. So we will not be having control over choosing the channel. and another problem is audio. Already the trains are full of noises and now the TVs. What the hell will that be? :O

i think it wud be just for AC First class. It might be 1 TV per coach or per cabin. and for chair car trains it might be like in planes.abt dish and changing directions, they wud have auto-rotating dish which changes direction on its own and always faces satellite. no matter how many times does the train change direction.

I doubt about the auto rotating dish. My guess is that the technology will be similar to what Satellite Radios use in US for cars. They use repeaters like mobile phone towers.

What shd they be adding more??This is nuts.. they already have enough channels to lure customers..all they have to improve is on customer servie and channel quality..Looking good at this point of time, when TS is adding all new channels to Lifestyle pack straight away without even wondering how many people would subscribe for it..Right now i think TS has a mile to reach in the packaging system compared to what dish is able to offer..

They can try getting Bharti Airtel now. Since they already had a tie-up with Airtel for mobility. They can get Airtel DTH
