HI GUYZ I LIVE IN UAE AND IM PLANNING TO BUY DISHTV RECEIVER TO USE IT HERE IN DUBAI, CAN I USE IT OR NOT IF I CAN USE IT:yahoo: THEN HOW CAN I PAY MY RENEWAL CHARGES CAN I USE MY CREDIT CARD? BUT IF I PAY WITH MY CRIDET CARD I THING THE PAYMENT WILL BE I DIRHAMS ? WILL DISH TV COMPANY CAN ACCEPT IT PLAESE LET ME KNOW

Sure ....you can wath Dish TV from there.

A) But set-top box and VC card.
B) Buy a bigger dish either in India or in UAE. This will ensure to have good quality video as signal in UAE is bery weak.
C) you can make payment by credit card at www.dishtv.in
D) Its depend on what currency card you have. If that issued in UAE then your bank will convert that in local currency (3% mark up will be addional.

I hope these information will suffice. Pls insure to have bigger dish. if not available then buy a C - Band dish and install K-band LNB there.....works perfectly ok.

i am from UAE & i gota receiver from Bombay..be careful cuz there is strict chkin at the airports.. especiallli dxb airports for dish receivers.. dey mite confiscate it.. once u get it.. contact any satellite shop to fix it for u..!cheers..

first of all thanks for your replyI got receiver from here only in uae but card renewal date is passed it was 2 nov 08 but 2day is 10 dec 08 now i want make payment for renewal but im scared to pay via credit card coz if dish tv company if not accept this payment may be i will loose my moneyMr girish how ur paying ur renewal payment ?Thanks in advancce

you should consult the person from whom you bought the dish in UAE..if not, try the dishtv website.. it shld b safe..Or request one of ur frnds in india to pay it for u..I Still havent completed a year.. so havent renewed til now..
