dishtv appoints Salil Kapoor as the Chief Operating Officer
dishtv - India’s No. 1 direct-to-home company and part of the biggest media conglomerate, Zee group, announces the appointment of Mr. Salil Kapoor as its COO. Mr. Kapoor will be taking charge from today and would be based out of the company’s head quarters in Noida. He brings along with him a vast and valuable experience of over 17 years spanning Information Technology, Consumer Durable and Engineering Industries in leading organizations across the country.
Prior to joining Dish TV, Mr. Kapoor was associated with Samsung Electronics Limited as the National Sales Head and was responsible for Consumer Electronics Revenue and Sales operations through 50 branches. He was also leading the senior level multi disciplinary teams and was a key contributor to strategic management decisions in sales / marketing / channel policy related and non related areas such as manpower, investments, information systems etc. He also has to his kitty a credit of building a successful track record of leading highly result oriented and motivated multidisciplinary teams in rapidly growing companies.
