DishTV services becoming pathetic day by day

We are really having tough time with DishTV. I have taken DishTV mainly to watch 3-5 channels. Headlines Today(english news), NDTV 24x7, Aaj Tak(hindi news), Indiavision (Malayalam News) and NDTV India. We were having dishtv for last two years. 5 months back i shifted to a new place and ordered a new dishtv since i was happy with the quality eventhough we had problem watching during rainy season. Soon after i took, they have taken off Headlines Today from their network. added few stupid channels instead of it.Complained a lot and they are saying "will fix it soon. talk is going on". When ndtv launched Good Times, i expected on DishTV. but Tata Sky got it. Now i am seeing a Scroll on channel 925 (IndiaVision). The best news channel of Kerala. "Please Note that Indiavision will not be available in DishTV platform with effect from 25th Jan 2008". How can they keep taking off channels which are part of them? Second channel will be missing soon. So my renewal is 31st of January. Do i get something back if i give back my stb and all stuffs to dealer ? Before we could see SunTV and Sun music in 1400 or other channels. Now we have to get by paying another 50RS. Even if we give 350, we cant see all the channels. I stay in bangalore and if we want to know some karnataka news, we wont get Kannada Channels. There is only Tamil/Malayalam. For that, again we have to do the pick. Extra Pick, Extra Money. What kind of service they are assuring to customers ! I have called customer care. He said, "please write to us. i dont have much information about it." Wrote to Customer care, No reply for last two days. anyways, those who are going to buy DTH services, have a proper check !! Regardsappus

May be NDTV 24x7 or Aaj Tak !! That are the few good channels left out !
 
Have u ever asked CC that why don't they add NDTV GOOD TIMES if it is free (FTA) ?Not only Tata Sky but also SUN DTH is having it since day 1. :wall:

What to ask them. They Do Not Know anything to help users. I was asking about the new setupbox with VGA facility, they said it is not available!
 
May be NDTV 24x7 or Aaj Tak !! That are the few good channels left out !
I think it should be from News Channels.:D

U cant watch any adult channel in india on any DTH Service u have to wait till 10 to 15 yrs when our social systems are changed totally...... :(
Why are you killing a thread by posting some stupid message pasting everywhere? why dont you post a seperate message than doing all these crap ! try to behave well in forums. It is not meant to spam. It is meant to give and take informations !!

Dunno man, but i can not buy this statement of your's where rep at their saying they VGA is not available...........its like the same thing " a man calling up LG customer care and asking about : do you have TV's : and rep their says no LG does not have TV's.
what the other's think about this????. does any body feels the same ....because i myself has called up their customer care and enquire about VGA.....EVEN on their website till last month i have seen VGA advertisement.
 
Yes, even I dont understand why the hell did they took the new tp, when they wanted to delete channels.....Only God knows when new channels will come on DISH. I am lucky that I still have my cable connection. They recently added Bindaas, Bindas Movies, 9x, 9xM, NDTV good times. Atleast, they have a feel of what the customer needs, but DISH Tv is not ready to learn.

Well. It was not today or yesterday i asked the customer support about their VGA Model. it was around 6 months back. It was the third day i saw this stuff on the net. I wanted to connect the box to my 21" LCD panel. I didnt have a tv at that time. I got information from local Dishtv dealer and i didnt buy because it was costing 1000rs extra. i simply got a tv tuner card for 600rs (external) and using that as converter. so i can watch both cable as well as dishtv in my monitor...

You can buy /sell statement according to your wish :P (No offense meant) :P
