DISH TV, THE
market leader in the direct-tohome (DTH) segment, has tied up with Dilip Chhabria's DC Design to provide on-themove TV service on luxury buses. While the channel bouquet cost remains the same, the cost of mobile DTH equipment is higher than that of conventional DTH. Dish TV sees travel DTH as a new revenue stream, one that it feels will be sizeable in the long run. "We have got orders for supplying mobile DTH for 10 luxury buses in South India. There are a lot of enquiries from other parts of India and we plan to market this service well and make it a sustained revenue stream," Salil Kapoor, CEO, Dish TV told ET.
