Dlink 502T Router Problem

Hi,I'm from Pune and have a BSNL 900 UL+ plan. I use D-Link 502T Router. From last few days I'm having a weired problem. The internet stops working all of a sudden, on taking a closer look i found that the packets get sent but are not received. I unplug the router's power cable and plug it back and Net starts after few seconds.Can anybody help me out as this is very frustating while chatting etc.Thx in Adv.Amit

when the internet is working, pings to google are fine?

Yup .. everythings fine .. google, chatting, Torrents ...

When you unplug and reconnect does the IP change?
Try also open DNS 208.67.222.222. and 208.67.220.220
My IP is 210.193.49.171 - CMyIP.com

Did not notice the IP change .. will chk it out. Also will try the DNS suggested and let you know in case of any change.

Well, changeing the DNS SOrted the problem to a large extent, earlier it was 5-6 times a day now 2-3 times. Thx a ton buddy. Any solution which will sort this prb once and for all .. ?
