I've been noticing delay in most web pages recently, so I suspected there could be some issue that is happening right at the start of request.

I re-configured my network settings but to no luck.

I've been using DOH and DOT (OS level + Firefox), tried with both Cloudflare and Google DNS.

Then I tried to simply run nslookup and noticed the below on IPv6 connections:

DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 2001:4860:4860::8888

DNS request timed out.

Address: 2606:4700:4700::1111

Anyone else facing the same? Tried enabling it?

I've been facing issues often with IPv6 since months, so at last I disabled it. Everything works great now. I try it often and even face PL for CF powered sites, like broadband.forum.

@Zuke I've been using IPv6 without issues since day 1 (4 years ago)
The problem only started in this week, I'm sure of this because last month I had seen IPv6 in use.

And yes disabling IPv6 altogether has stopped the slow loading for me too, seems that the extra duration at the start of the session is because it's trying to re-connect to the same website on IPv4 after trying for a while on IPv6.

This is so pathetic. This is evolution, but backwards.
