Does anyone know about Electric vehicles(4-Wheeler)?Does anyone have contacts in Tata Motors?

Tie up with your local 24hr taxi operator and call him whenever you need their services. It is the best solution if you only need the car for 100-200km a month.

Why?
Maintainance?
Ownership Cost...
For EV you end up spending like 3-4 lacs extra for similar size/feature car.(compare cost of Tata Nexon petrol vs EV). Plus you will end up spending around 100K for battery replacement after 7-8 years ..
Ownership cost of petrol car will be less for such less usage.

Agree.
if EV is 3-4L expensive and your drive will only be 100-200Km a month then you will never be able to recover the extra money you spent on EV.
I think electric will only make sense for those who drive a LOT, even then someone need to do the math for how many kms it will take for EV to turn out cheaper than Petrol, taking into account the battery replacement cost, electricity cost, service charges difference etc.

Real tata test will be after 8 years or whenever battery will wont keep up.
For now i know is normal tata battery for cars are not worth it.
