Does JioFiber Internet works when there's power outage in the area like MTNL/BSNL Connection?

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of opting for JioFiber connection but I have some queries for which I need your expert opinion. There's too much power outage in my area and most of the local Internet connection don't work when there's power outage. Only BSNL connection works flawlessly when there's outage. We do have Inverter in our homes which keeps routers on for few hours but without internet its of no use. So, wanted to know whether JioFiber Internet keeps working when there's power outage. Please share your opinion.

Yes Jio should work fine. Fibre optics work from NOC where they have OLTs and these would have 100% power backups.

The beauty of Passive Optical fiber network is that it's straight from OLT to your router without any requirement of power boost. Big ISPs like Jio and Airtel have set of rules which they strictly want all the local distributors even LCO to abide by. That includes backup to OLT so you should be good with the internet.
