Hello,

I was wondering if the JioFi's IP range can be reconfigured to maybe something like..

10.0.0.1 instead of 192.168.1.1

They have completely locked their router.
Jiofi M2S atleast had the submask can be changed for NAT as 192.168.x.x but with newer versions you cant even change it.
Plus that DNS entry of jiofi.local.html is most irritation as it is interfering with my setup of various routers.
JMR 815 you cannot change any NAT setting and by default router address is 192.168.15.1

Oh.
I see.

So I am guessing the below screenshot is from an older version when the had not locked down everything?

I dont have this model, but what i can guess is that you wont be able to edit the router ip address nor the submask.
They have this foolish dns entry of jiofi.local.html which interfears with my other routers having 192.168.1.1

I see.
And are 'JMR 540' and 'JMR 1140' the newer variants?

Would be nice to know from someone who owns them if their local IP range can be changed.

I am looking into this because I need them for an office setup and would make my task a lot easier if they supported IP range changes.

I had the exact issue. And what @popcorn said is true. I own JioFi M2 with the same setting. Decided to get rid the IP lockdown scenario and the annoying conflict with 192.168.1.1 IP, with the help of a Mikrotik hap ac2 router. Any router with the support for external 3g/4g modem via usb tethering should work. Also, having a dedicated router brings better coverage.

That's why I started recommending a bit costlier router with modem support these days. With all the daily FUP limits plans, we can attach any modem, including Android usb tethering, to browse the internet in case of emergency.
