The last time I called the toll free help desk number (Bangalore 2 days back), I was advised not to change my password and leave it as the default that was given to me. They even told me that once changed, there is no way they can reset it for me if I run into issues. Now I am skeptical about the whole "don't change your password thingy"Has anyone ever been advised this before? is it safe to change password?I am new BSNL customer on 117.X.X.X. servers:redface:

You have
(a) UserId and password ( usually given by BSNL orselected by you )
(b) A 14digitPortal ID and password password to check usage at
BSNL Portal. Select red entries and go to http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/
(c) email userId/password same as (a)

Para two : 1.If you want to change password go to (b) and change it
http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/

2.Then come back to(a) you will loose BB connection !
3. Now go to modem and change the password entered there."Always On"
4. Or use new password in "dialup" mode.

Para three : What is your tariff plan ? , Check often your usage for any misuse of your account.
Mostly the usage portal is not available always.
Check usage locally with with other usage meters. use the timers
