drainage works cut bsnl adsl cables , exchange telling to convert to ftth fiber ! telling no chance of adsl again in this area .help !

Could be plenty of reasons for freeze. Th red light might be due to them doing work somewhere on the fiber. How is the fiber power measurement on the ONT? Rx and Tx values.

Ya, the values are within stable range. During daytime there might be small disruptions due to them working and making new connections.
 
they stopped my internet and outgoing calls now due to non payment , but its the old landline bb bill which i applied for rebate and its pending i think . i dont think i should be paying it . any idea what should be done , i am sure nothing can be done tonight , but tomorrow morning what should i expect when i call those exchange people.
the custormer care said nothing can be done at thier side.
