@mindlogicx. Yes, it does solve the april to an extent. The speed becomes much faster. Under bridged mode, You can leave your modem connected. You won't be charged for it. You will only be charged when you connect through the PPPOPE connection as mentioned above. Bridged mode opens all the ports and make sure that you have a good firewall installed. Instead i would you to use the Opendns

thanks. brother. i tried bridge mode and my net is perfectly working . i had " april problems".i use 849NU plan.but whats this bridge mode open all ports means? will i be able to enjoy unlimited d/ws or know????:S

@Above. Bridged mode opens up all your ports and thus you don't need to port-forward at all. This is useful in torrents as thsi provides you full speed and thus improves the browsing speed as well

Hey Krish,The solution posted by you is excellent, however my problem with my D-Link DSL 502T modem is that the ADSL & Ethernet lights stay on constantly and Status light keeps blinking but there is not internet connection. I have to power off the modem and power it on again to start surfing/downloading. The connection is disrupted every few minutes.I cannot implement your solution, as I have a wireless router after my ADSL modem. I tried connecting the ADSL model directly to my laptop but the problem remains (with default settings).How can I implement bridge mode solution with the wireless router. Or can you suggest any other solution.Thanks

@djkesaria. Have you followed my step by step guide properly. Just have a look at it. If not followed the steps correctly may result in no connection.
