MTNL Mumbai DSL Modulation?

Call up mtnl broadband guys ...first thing they will do is check for disturbance in phone line....they will have to change line segments..see it solves your problem.

Hi, I use to face problem like YouTube not working, Gapps unable to load with MTNL default dns address,changing the dns to Google open dns solved the problem. So you can also try, if u haven't already. *I know it might be a lame advice [emoji14] *

Complained many times to MTNL it didnt make any difference.
I have already changed my dns to open dns but didnt work

GDmt works best as per my experience.

Disable all except GDmt

MTNL seems have upgraded their DSL network.

Now instead of GDmt I would recommend Annex M.

Annex M is rock stable for me and very few CRC errors (0 errors in 4 hrs) compared to GDmt. (100 in just few mins)

Annex M also supports 24mbps download and 3 mbps upload (in theory)

Which is the most stable modulation? (Adsl or higher) in terms of ping and stability?

Ok so i changed dsl modulation to annex m and i noticed that dsl light was not stable despite waiting for 10 minutes again reversed to g.dmt and dsl became stable within a minute. :/

Recently with GDMt i was getting few disconnections. CRC errors etc.

DSL handshake wud take 2-3 minutes.

So I started doing trial and error. Enabled Annex M... and all my problems got solved.

Very few CRC errors and not a single DSL drop ever since I switched to it.

And DSL handshake also happens very fast - I think within 30 seconds

Yes Am using MTNL Mumbai , for me its opposite dsl light was not getting stable even after 10 minutes .
Restarted modem too but same so i just reversed it to g.dmt and back to normal dsl light stable within a minute.

Complain about noise/static/disturbance in the telephone line. They will send lineman to fix the disturbance. In Delhi, they fix it in 24 hours. Don't complain about internet at first, or they will send the internet technician who does not always coordinate with the lineman.

For lines with noise or static, G.dmt is best and most stable modulation.

Line man has checked the line many times and no issues with that.
My line is clear and no noise.
But i noticed one thing when line man checks the line and tells issue resolved for a day the issue gets solved but after a day same issue of speed
