DTH antenna direction

I saw an Airtel DTH antenna mounted facing the SW direction. All of Dish, Tata Sky and BigTV antennas normally face the SE direction. Can anyone confirm if Airtel is currently using a test satellite and may move to another one after Comm launch? In my apt. I dont have access to SE direction and have not aquired any DTH service so far. Thx

So yes for Airtel the dish may be facing SE depending on your location.Facing SE for greater than 74 degree east longitude, facing due south for 74E,SW for less than 74E long
To know the exact direction you may visit dishpointer.com,it is google maps enable.So if your location is with good resolution in google maps,you will get a very clear idea on how your dish will be pointed.
