Enable Bridge mode on GX Earth 2022 (Titanium E20)

Hi All,

I recently got an ACT 100Mbps connection with a GX Earth 2022 ONT Modem/Router (to convert optical fiber net to WAN). However, I want to use my personal WiFi 6 TP-Link Archer AX1800 router. I know that to do this, we have to enable bridge mode on GX Modem and then configure TP Link router in PPPoE (with username and password). However, when I try to do this, the TP Link router seems to flag Double NAT (additional router detected) warning. Could I know how to do this setup without any double NAT issues ?

Also, I see that the internet speed with speedtest/ookla is matching my 100Mbps plan but when I use fast.com or Plex the speed is very low at 20-30 mbps. I was just wondering if it’s the same double NAT that’s causing speed issue.

@tr1k0N4 Hi brother, it is working but the problem is that I am not getting the full 400Mbps upload speed on XC220-G3v, its limited to 200Mbps but using the GX router I am getting the full 400Mbps upload speed. No issue with download speed though. Everything was tested in bridge mode on both the router and also tested both in router mode as well and its the same. Do you know the reason or any specific setting I need to change on XC220-G3v?

You are referring to speed through LAN or WiFi?

@tr1k0N4 Through LAN and Wifi both, I have TP-Link AX11000 which have Wifi6 so wifi speed is also not an issue

Maybe try some other firmware, if the problem persists!
