I wanted to share my recent experience with Jio 5G and see if anyone else is facing the same issue. I currently use my Jio 5G phone as a USB router to access unlimited 5G internet, and it has worked flawlessly for quite some time. I recently tested using the hotspot feature as well, its same.
However, for the past few days, I've noticed an annoying issue: my phone automatically switches to Jio 4G, even though I have the settings forced to 5G using a "Force 5G" app. I've tried everything, including using a custom script to lock it to 5G only, but the network goes down for several minutes, leaving me with no signal at all.
It seems to me like this could be the end of an era for using Jio 5G this way. Whether it's a network optimization by Jio or something else, it's frustrating.
