Just curious. My dad is sticking with his old Panasonic Tau 29" CRT which just killed the inverter today... I have been pushing him to get a LED/LCD TV. How much is the difference in power consumption? The TV runs for more than 12-14 hours on most weekdays. Slightly less on Weekends.
So 29" is likely to be more
How much power would a 40" LED consume? I am thinking the Micromax/Vu model that costs under Rs. 30,000 during Flipkart sales.
BTW, I've a 55" VU LED which if I remember has a power rating of 90w, but with a watt meter it shows 50w for me. The actual consumption depends on what brightness & contrast you are running the same.
