Erratic BB in Hyderabad

For the last one week or so, BSNL Broadband has been erratic in Hyderabad. You either do not get connected or no page opens after connecting. But it suddenly starts working for sometime.This has been the experience of almost all of my colleagues using BSNL BB. For me I do not get internet in the evenings after I reach home. :frown:But my scheduled downloads from night 0200 Hrs. go on well!. Don't know what's happening!

BSNL Hyderabad is not among the best of the units. I have seen many complaint from Hyderabad users. Post your modem - model and make. May be we can try something.

Modem is Netgear DG 632. By the by my Modem is functioning OK!

This problem has occurred again from past 2 days and its a server problem. Speed is extremely low (lower than dial-up) and most sites dont open at all (except rediff.com which shows no difference). This is already the longest time since I subscribed to BSNL that it is not functional. (2 full days) Hope they fix the problem soon.

Its been mostly useless for the past 2 days for me too. Seems to be working fine as I type this.

From what I gather from BSNL sources, the NIB at Hyd has been having some problems which seem to have been rectified by 10PM on Sunday, 14 Feb.

Yesterday it was totally down. :impissed: But seems to be working today again. :wewin:
