Do u know what is carriage fees..?? Carriage fees is paid to ops by FTA channels so that DTH ops add them in their bouquet. ESS channels are pay channels. And the one ur talking abt was wen TS moved these channels into add on packages. Dontmix that with dese.

Carriage fees also cover subscription fees if that's what you are ROFLMAO about. Depends on who the content provider is.

Hathway, Asianet Digital & Tata Sky are all STAR group companies, so all seem to have problem with ESS.But business of cable & Satellite companies is different, so I dont think ESS can cut off channels from TATASKY. Its strange how long ESS would continue STAR brand in its name with so many problem with 'STAR'

I just dropped all sports channels and cosmo pack from my package.. and u know how much I will be saving?? Rs.165 .. damn TS is getting very expensive ..even after dropping all these channels I will be paying around 470 per month .. 275+45+150 ..For sports channel even after paying so much y we keep getting ads..

Buddy, Instead why dont u go for Annual Mega Pack @ Rs 5500. U r already paying Rs 470 pm, if u subscribe to Mega Pack u'll be paying Rs 460 and get all the channels.

Already Rs 65 is costly , How much more will they increase.

I think with new agreement, they are gonna add in base pack. Hope for the best.

I Stopped my cable subscription only this month after they stopped showing ESS & recharged my TS, bcos didn't wanted to miss cricket world cup & now it seems i may miss football world cup
