EVDO signal in madivala, bangalore

Guysssssssssss plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am stuck......... I use EVDO card.Initially the signal will be orange and even though connection is not stable, it re-connects. But for the last few days, as soon as the light turns green,the net gets DC. i called up customer care and i was informed that in order to have net connected, the color should be orange and not green. They are asking me to wait till the tower comes up. Is this true? I strongly feels that if the color is turned green, the net should connect........ Can anyone help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Thanxxxxxxxxxxx in advance,Rejini.

Bangalore doesnt have EVDO towers. The customer care is correct. It has to be orange irrespective of how you feel.

Hi,The light are right. Green for EVDO and orange for 1x. I faced the same problem in CBD. You will have to visit a BSNL CSC to get the card reconfigured. By default the card will have three modes 1x, EVDO and Hybrid. By default its Hybrid and in this mode if it finds a EVDO Signal than pref is given to that. The CSC will reconfigure it to 1x till the EVDO is officially launched in Bangalore.
