Over the past few years, we’ve introduced several standalone apps that accomplished specific tasks. We learned a lot about which features you used the most and incorporated many of them into our core Evernote and Web Clipper apps. With our focus shifting to our core apps, we’ve made the decision to discontinue support for Evernote for Pebble, Evernote Clearly, and several versions Skitch. This means that as of January 22nd, 2016, we will no longer offer customer support to answer questions about or troubleshoot problems with these apps and we won’t make any further improvements or updates.

What will happen after January 22nd, 2016?

You can expect that these apps will continue to work as normal for some time. However, future updates to your operating system or browser might result in certain features breaking. Because these apps are no longer supported, we will not fix the features that break.

Suggested Alternative

Pebble
If you’ve enjoyed Evernote for Pebble, you may consider Powernoter, available from the Pebble App store. It offers many of the same features including voice-created notes, interactive checklists, on-device note editing, and color images.

Clearly
You can find many of Clearly’s features offered with Evernote Web Clipper. Available for every major browser, Clipper lets you capture web pages and articles in a simplified, reading-friendly format. You can also take screenshots, annotate pages, and add comments and tags to anything clipped and saved to Evernote.

Skitch
You can find robust annotation features in Evernote for iOS, Windows, and Mac. Add text, shapes, and highlighting to images, notes, documents, and PDFs from the Evernote app.

We appreciate the support you’ve shown our Evernote family of apps. We are hopeful that you’ll find your experience with Powernoter, Evernote Web Clipper and Evernote to be just as powerful and intuitive.
