It’s not exactly a new app. It has existed for several years. I have used it several times over the years. But I guess it would become an app that I would use every day.

Disabling search indexing was one of the ways you prevent early burnout of SSD. Plus the search in Windows sucks ass. This app is pretty amazing when it comes to indexing speed and showing search results.

I have of course configured the app to save its index on a HDD instead of the primary SSD.

I imagine I could have done the same with Windows Search Indexing service but have not tried.
