Excitel Broadband: How to get full speeds on smartphone

Are you guys getting good speeds on wifi? my lco says that you cannot get more than 50mbps on wifi on mobile devices.

@Dipanker Sachdeva, Yes I am able to get 90-95 Mbps on my current mobile, It all depends on your mobile hardware , Two of my older smartphone gives 40 and 70 Mbps respectively, There is really not much you can do about it.

I am on 75mbps plan and I get full 75mbps on my mobile.

I'm using an iPhone 6. My 2.4ghz wifi router might be the culprit. (Supports wireless n speeds) Getting full wifi speed on laptop( around 90mbps). Worth upgrading to a dual band router?

100mbps might be hard on the 2.4GHz band I guess. This is why I am sticking to 50mbps. My hardware probably would not support full 100mbps through the house.

Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router 3

Xiaomi 5GHZ will give you full speeds (i get full 75mbps D/L but for some reason only 50mbps U/L). On 2.4Ghz frequency, I get full 75/75 D/U, however the range isn't that great.
