@Sushubh does that mean excitel guys are using full fat ethernet cable with 8 wires in it at your place ?

no idea to be honest. a regular ethernet cable is coming to my place. i think it's cat5 but i wouldn't know.

@Sushubh x'D dont go by whats written on it. cause mine says cat5e but when i look at it it came out to be really thin cable with only 4 wires inside it instead of 8 wires.

from what i have read, cat5e cables are capable of gigabit data transfers.

i think the issue of ethernet cables used by excitel has been discussed elsewhere on the forum.

@Sushubh i guess the one you are refering to is this.

here as you can see @Sidharth P told us that we need all 8 wires for gigabit speeds.
