Excitel Fiber Broadband Experience in Delhi NCR

(I have moved this content to the thread linked below so kindly read it from there).

Sorry for the last time if I posted this on the wrong thread. We have created a dedicated non Excitel international telecom thread for this topic. Which needs to be covered. Like comparison with other countries. Thanks for reading till now and whoever wants to add to this make sure to post on this thread after this : International Telecommunication Discussion

Last time mods :)

I never experienced 400 mbps while being on the cable cutter plan and my ticket related to speed issues remained open for six months.

I downgraded the plan to a 300 mbps plan and I got a call from the team to do a Speed Test and they asked if they can close the ticket now as I am getting around 300 mbps speeds in line with my plan. Lol

Connection showed no internet 5-6 times a day for 2-5 minutes today in the span of 12 hours while a global ticket was raised by excitel's side citing (Reactive-AL-PN-PON).

Finally got my 2K security amount refund, now it's all over with excitel for now.

Interesting. My three months with Excitel ending on 22 Mar. I have disconnection request earlier in the day. Over time it did improve a little bit specially on download speeds but it was no where close to 400Mbps as per the plan and upload stayed pretty bad.

One good thing - I was able to push over 5TB in Jan and no one slowed down or called which was nice. I am back on Siti broadband from last couple of weeks (besides existing other local ISP). Financially Siti is quite unwell but I like simple connections where ISPs don't mess up with massive traffic shaping policies at their end. On 100Mbps connection on Siti and getting 100Mbps just with every thing - local, far off, peered, non-peered content etc. An example of Backblaze speedtest for EU:

About disconnection - I find it interesting that they expect end user to magically find their LCO office to deposit CPE even when I have no refundable deposit to claim. I was literally telling them over phone to send someone to pick it up. Only annoying thing for now are daily 2 automated calls from them - one in English and other in Hindi telling me that plan is about to expire and I should renew it.

Dumb plain ISPs without IVR automation, no app, clean policies at their router are magically better. :)

Since Excitel's service is dependent on the LCO, does anybody here have "Keshav Network And Cable" as their LCO in Delhi? They service a few areas.

I am currently on Airtel but I can't play any competitive shooters on it because of very high and unstable Ping.

I just want to know what kind of ping I can expect with that LCO.
