why they're wasting time on old site, bring the new one.

Yeah, I think it's because of the cluttery new site. It's kinda hard for someone new to navigate to plans section. Another thing is that that probably the new site is bandwidth heavy as it has a lot of graphical stuff. Last but most importantly it could be indexing and advertising issue. They have listed all their ads for old site. It'll take some time to migrate them to newer site and with google ads it's quite painful to change pre existing ads and waiting for manual review. All this tells that they might or might not shift to new site. It's kinda incomplete. All I'm waiting for is new plans .

They changed the header background to white and header font and logo to black.

They have changed the fonts & colour of some buttons, fonts & background. Now it's looking neater than before.

they've almost moved to orange and blue, look better now TBH.

Yeah, the get excitel button has also been polished and it's not orange. Logo & all is orange & blue + black themed fonts and bottom parts. TBH it looks great now. Just few more tweaks are required like the plan page has to be adjusted a bit so it properly fits in mobile view. The font they've used on their website looks great. I hope they'll also redesign the app and make it work faster. There's always a lag opening it and the loading circle whenever we click anything. Also my.excitel.com portal needs a redesign too. Feels good to see them doing these small tweaks. Because since 2019 the site hasn't been touched. It's kind of refreshing. I'm just eagerly waiting for my plan to expire on December 7th to use that 400 Meg

I tried tweaking their app with Xiaomi themes, It almost worked except few things which can be achieved by codes like the splash screen only has half screen image and uses a background with solid purple color.
