Excitel fiber now available - How to know excitel fiber available in the area

Can anyone share his experience of how they came to know about the excitel fiber being actually available in their area?
The excitel fiber page in myexcitel app is showing links to buy Onu devices since Feb end but the LCO and both excitel helpline saying work is still going on and its not available. Helpline guys told that they will contact via SMS and call when the fiber is indeed available in my area in Delhi.
Did anyone of you got notified via SMS or call when fiber was available to your area or it was through some other means?

Got an update from customer care today that excitel fiber will be available in my area in 1-2 months. The local partner had shortage of OLT devices, that's why upgrade couldn't be done. So hopefully it should be available in some time in my Area now.

I was testing the speed directly from onu to my laptop and it is limited to 55-56 mbps on my 125 mbps plan, strange thing is when I connect the router (onu is connected to this) to my pc via lan it gives 95-96 mbps speed. This test was done using the same cable. Any idea what could the issue?

@apurvgupta1 i guess u are using mi3c and speeds on 2.4ghz band is not great on mi 3c

@opomiyulen I was testing on direct cable not wifi and the wifi router i have is mi router 3 which is dual band router but Limited to 100 mbps.

Probably a temporary speed issue. Try again later. Laptops should have 100mbps ports at the very least.

Speed issues got fixed after a new router was connected. Although ONU to laptop speed remains the same and a mystery .

Are you able to get higher speed when you connect your laptop and router?

Yes, i can get above 125+ mbps when connected via router to laptop .
