Excitel Fiber Wifi calling and cowin not working!

Hello,

I am in south west delhi, dwarka mor, and I have Jio sim and I have excitel 300mbps connection for a year or so, never had a problem.

Suddenly from last 4-5 days, Jio's wifi calling stopped working. It's not really Jio's fault as my friend has airtel BB and hathway fiber and wifi calling for me and my friend works on it easily. Just on excitel it isnt showing anymore. I have tried dns thingy instructions but nope, not working.

Then suddenly today I went to cowin website. I have had 3 members already vaccinated and am familiar with cowin, quite a handy website GOI has made and with telegram updates, vaccine is easy pesy. Problem now is I can't even open cowin on excitel (for other internet or even mobile data it works. I am attaching what I get when I open cowin.

Whats going on? Somehow cowin portal is thinking I am outside India. I have checked with what's my IP and it shows I am in delhi. Same issue with wifi calling also perhaps? hence Jio wifi calling also not working as it is thinking I am outside India...

I have raised tickets with excitel 2 times, but no response from excitel. 5 Days back excitel was down for few hours which is fine but then when it got back up, this problem started happening and is continuing till this date... Just to be clear, I have not added any VPN whatsoever and same problem another friend of mine is also facing, exact issue with excitel.

Anyone facing similar issue???

What is your location on whatismyipaddress.com ? Cuz new Excitel IP ranges may have incorrect geolocation. Either way open a ticket and they should fix it as COWIN is very important and essential service..

Ticket is open since 7th June but they haven't done anything on it.

Excitel is using some new IP ranges who are currently not determined as Indian IPs and your services are getting geolocked. Cowin blocks access to any user who doesn't have Indian IP address. Same with Wifi calling to ensure that you don't use that service internationally.

idk abt ip ranges, but whatmyip shows it is in delhi.. what's the issue then.. this is really frustrating issue

yeah, cowin is important. i made the ticket originally for wifi calling but as it is a niche feature for now, i thought i won't get a proper response but cowin is extremely imp hence made ticket on that too.

205.254.x.0 is a new IP range afaik. cowin is using a different geolocation service which may not have updated its database (maybe even cowin might not have updated it). y
