Excitel has killed the last thing that was good about them

The block is at Tata middleboxes though. Don't think excitel can do anything about it. I checked for 1337 it gets blocked by Tata.

azire has been working great but it does not have a chrome extension which is causing the problem. maybe i should continue with pia.

You can try GreenTunnel software for windows.
Its not a VPN , just a tunnel and your ip and everything remains same , so no speed drops or added latency.
Its open source and unblocks most of the websites.
