Excitel LCO refusing to upgrade to fiber till ethernet plan is active

i called my LCO today to know enquire about fiber connection he said yes, fiber is available and you can get it only (when my current plan of copper 75mbps) gets over.
I asked where i should pay? the ONU price he said do not pay online, just ask me once your plans get over and stuff.
So after this he said that do not pay online and fiber is available after your plan ends sounded fishy to me..
What should i do?

wow. that's so much bullshit.

in my case, i extended my plan before applying for fiber upgrade. and lco guy asked me to pay for the onu online himself.

The service of LCO is good, like the internet goes down just for only 1/2 hours in a month. which is bearable to me.
But let's see my plan is already going to expire this 31'st.

So finally i called the LCO guy that upgrade my Copper to Fiber.
He said that he will come tomorrow.
And charges are 750rs for ONU + 500rs for Fiber Connection.
He also told me that there is an offer of 12months of internet just for 5k!
Though he said don't pay for ONU online.
Let's see how it goes tomorrow!

I would not pay for long term in advance even if it means paying more for short term, just my opinion

@Sushubh That i don't know, i re-called him that what extra 500rs are for?
As there are no charges of upgradation (contacted excitel via live chat).
It feels so fishy man xD (that don't pay online etc)
His no is switched off currently

Excitel says that there are no charges for installation but lcos do charge it. It differs from lco to lco. Some do it for free. Some ask 500/700/1k
