Excitel Router bypass with VSOL 2802RH attempt

I'm able to get vsol registered and certified after connecting the fiber to it. I've copied the pon SLNO from the excitel provided genexis router. I've created a wan profile, since excitel does not use VLAN in the wan profile I've selected to disable VLAN, but with this I'm not able to get any ack from pppoe server. It's leading to timeout in every case. I'm also not able to do a vlan scan using omcicli command since the vsol is in EPON mode.

Anyone any idea to proceed further ?

Yeah, replacing Excitel ONU is a real PITA.
I'm personally yet to some across someone who's successfully done that tbh.

It's a mystery, ask Excitel toh enable bridge mode on your existing onu

I dropped the idea for now since excitel pushes new config via tr-069 and with ipv6 rollout, i don't wanna miss anything. Although i haven't received ipv6 yet.

@milindpatel63 thanks for your response. I've tried your setup, but with that, i've observed when ever i'm changing mac of my downstream router to match excitel router, it leads to pdao timout. otherwise with original mac i'm able to discover PPPOE server but the authentication fails.
