My experience has been good enough. Usually get full 100mbps. Considering I'm in kind of a rural area and there's no other ISP serving my specific area, it's pretty amazing. Routing is a bit spotty and weird things happen once in a while.
My connection is provided by LCO.

I am bit old customer of Bsnl from 2016, used adsl for 3+ years with no major problems in those years. But u can't expect more speeds in adsl as everyone knows,I moved to fibre connection given by lco and billing by Bsnl, not faced single issues from past 4 months, getting bit more speeds and I must say its very good. In my location Bsnl is very good. Its better to check once and then decide.

Hi @Shubham ,
Did you got BSNL FTTH connection. Unfortunately, I don't have JIO fiber connection and Airtel has doomed me few weeks back promising Optic Connection and they provided Copper cable connection with 1/5th the claimed speed.
I got JioFiber in June 2019. So no BSNL for me.

Changed my plan on selfcare on September 30 night to Fibre Ultra and nothing happened. They upgraded existing users including me to 200 Mbps /4 TB FUP in October then this month the selfcare portal request finally got changed to Fibre Ultra plan.

Downloads speeds are as advertised. Upload speeds though are quite abysmal. Overall I can't complain as I have no other ISPs serving my area and the uptime is quite good unless there is some serious underground fibre cut.

I've been using BSNL FTTH for over 2 years now, here in Gujarat. I'll say you should opt for BSNL only if there's no other operator in your area.

Bsnl does offer attractive packages (out of the blue for like 3 months) but their service and uptime duration is absolute dogshit.
I had my daylights knocked out due frustration because of their random connection drops at any time and especially during office hours. Trust me working from home will be a hell of a task with BSNL fiber.
Don't expect any consistency with BSNL, it can provide you full 100mbps with minimum latency but in any moment it'll drop to 1mbps for a while or simply a connection drop.

Complaining is useless as their office guys don't even understand latency or packet loss.
So, only opt for BSNL if you don't have any other option, like me.

I got it installed through franchise. BSNL said they are not giving connection directly but only via franchise..

LCO charged Rs 3500 for optilink modem and 1000 for installation. Got the connection in a week. on top of that bsnl charged 1 month deposit + 250 installation charges. I believe it has increased to 500 now.

We are paying to both bsnl and LCO for installation which is not fair. If BSNL gives connection via LCO, we shouldnt be charged for it.

wow, the speeds are awesome..
which modem are you using? you got it from LCO or outside?

@victor_star I returned Alphion AONT 100C back to the LCO as it was an ancient and limited device with only 100 Mbps port. Purchased the newer Alphion ASEE-1443 model from their local distributor for 2300 plus gst as it has Gigabit port. Called the Alphion tech support and they helped out with the new ONT serial number registration to the OLT over the phone.

Upload speeds have gone up by a bit since Monday after some fiber power adjustments by the LCO.

@thehitman47 Did you get the ont from their Malleshwaram Office?I enquired last month and he said 3500 for ASEE 1443 and 3900+ tax for ASEE 1444. My LCO also quoted the same price and this distributor was telling to get from LCO itself. But I know someone who got at 2300+gst last year as you have.

Don't know if they are increasing the price to push for purchase from LCO.
