I think my Z2 has a problem with reception. At the same spot, different devices on the same network report a signal strength that is 15 to 20 dBm better than my phone.

Initially I assumed that my sim card was faulty. However, using the same sim card in another device gives much better signals that what I get on my phone.

I'm getting the sim card replaced in the hope that it will fix things. If it doesn't might have to go to the service center :'(

Does anyone have an idea about how Sony Service centers are?

Good luck. I sold my Sony camera instead of going to the service center after reading horrible reviews about them online. :sweating:

It isn't much of an issue within the city at least with multiple cell towers nearby.

However, I was cursing rcom gsm while roaming in Himachal as my phone was on No Service 50% of the times, until I put the SIM in another device.. and network everywhere!

I really hope changing the sim fixes it [emoji14]
Not keen on selling the device, it is pretty nice otherwise.

I wonder what solution they would offer you besides changing the entire motherboard which would probably cost as much as a new mid-range phone.
