External HDD price in India

Rs. 3425 and Rs. 3600, no such difference in price. Also in electronics i trust that shop, i bought my pc 5.5 yrs back, still now my mother board works fine and i dont get any problem for the past 5.5 yrs, it works fine. So i not a matter to pay Rs. 100 to 200 more for some product.

same is the reason with my hardware store. i know he charges a small premium as he has to get the stuff for me from delhi... (i usually ask him for stuff he does not stock).

I got a Western Digital 1 TB(with external power adapter) for 4000.Comes with 3 years warranty.Let me see how it goes.

yeap. the ones with power adapters are going to be cheaper as they tend to use desktop disks. USB only drives usually makes use of laptop disks. and hence they are expensive.

Yea, I can understand. If peace of mind is worth the extra 200 bucks, why not go for it btw, which shop are you referring to?

Don't scare....always place your external drive in center of table...also don't connect power supply plug using 3 pin...use extender to plug into supply..heating is a great problem...Be cool...lol

hey, can anyone tell me USB one (the one with laptop hard disk inside ) 1 TB capacity hard disk , cost in new delhi. if someone can quote nehru place price then it would be great.
