Hi guys, I just wanted to know how much extra duties and taxes we have to pay if we bought some stuff online (e.g. from ebay.com) from outside of India. Say I purshased a $200 camera from ebay.com. What would it actually cost me when I receive it and whats the procedure to receive?

This is for un-accompanied baggage, but my understanding is that this is what is also charged for goods received by post or parcel. Sometimes, no duty is charged if it is felt the item is a 'sample of no commercial value' is not for sale but only for evaluation and of low general value. Remember, octroi of 4% might be levied on top of all other costs, if applicable for your city.
