I had enabled Bridge mode on ZTE router a couple of months ago, it was working absolutely fine.
But since yesterday, it's not working anymore, I am not able to get a public IP, I didn't change any sort of configuration or anything.

Anyone else facing this issue?

Is the bridge mode not working or are you not getting a public IP? Both of these things are different!
If you are not getting a public IP, Airtel must have put you behind CG-NAT. You can purchase a static IP if your use case requires it.
If the bridge mode is not working, contact Airtel support and they should help you with the resolution

Not sure how to determine the difference between the two?
The thing is, I have configured an OPNSense router with PPPoE autentication, every time I reboot the router, it takes a very long time to get a public IP, sometimes it's more than 12-14 hours, it gets a IPv6 almost instantly.

I called up the field engineer, he said, everything's fine form the backend.

@Ashbro check your PPPoE settings in OPNSense. The IP assignment is near instantaneous in my case and I face no issues whatsover

@Chip Yes you are right, I suspected that my OPNsense could be at fault here. To check this, I plugged the Ethernet into my 2nd router, set it to router mode and it instantly got an IP. Seems like the issue is with OPNSense, what it is I don't know, have been trying to look for the root cause.

But the good thing is it's working for now, it only gives me a hard time after I reboot Proxmox itself, on top of which OPNSense is hosted.

@Ashbro ok, I run OPNSense as a dual boot with pfSense so each runs as the host OS (BSD) + the firewall software on top of it. I haven't used any virtual server or VM progs to host it. Please check with the OPNSense forums if it is compatible when run in this manner.

Under normal OS (BSD) + firewall running environment, OPNSense/pfSense run faultlessly with all x86 or x64 hardware with normal connectivity options i.e. PPPoE or static IP.
