So, checked the movie during the mega downtime of BSNL Broadband yesterday. It was quite fun. About the series... Yes, it is more modern and very nicely made so feels better. It is also impressive how the makers of the show retained most of the characters in new avatars while allowing continuity from the movie itself (the bag buried in the snow thing).
