• Only the actual toll amount will be charged if payment is made within 72 hours of receiving the e-Notice.
• Tolls will double after 72 hours.
• Failure to pay will restrict services like FASTag, NOC, Fitness Certificate, and National Permit.
• All vehicles must use HSRP number plates.

• Banks are implementing this new technology on a 'Per-Transaction Fee Model'.
• It will reduce the operational cost of toll collection from 12-15 per cent to just 3-4 per cent.

Looks like entire SBI fastag network is down. Their site, recharge facility, and the online customer support are all offline for more than a month now. Looks like I will have to visit the bank branch to close the tag. Will switch to a better one.
