He must have made a fortune already! If Nintendo was really threatening him to sue for the game ( obstacles ) then I suppose he walked out at the right time.Will I still see ads in game ?

The game is removed from the app stores. The app has not been changed. And I am guessing he still prefers the money that is coming in.
Also. The Nintendo point. I am guessing he can easily change the UI elements to ensure that it does not resemble the Mario elements.
And I am pretty sure that the game is making a comeback. There is no way anyone can just turn off such a huge source of revenue and popularity.
Sure all his future launches would be like get highlighted everywhere. But still. When you have a hit in your hands, you just do not dismantle it for stupid reasons.
