Well, in all three apps, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, you will see a persistent ad banner on the right side. You can’t remove it unless you buy the premium subscription. Moreover, a 15-second video ad will play (muted) in the Office app every few hours.
Apart from that, you can’t save documents locally. You will have to use OneDrive to save files.
And hundreds of features are missing. So its basically useless. One would get more features on the free web version of Office or any other alternative Office software.
Office for Windows is getting a free, ad-supported tier that lets you create and edit documents, but has limited features and only lets you save to OneDrive.
Office 365 app which came with Samsung allowed to edit document earlier with my Organization's login. But recently it does not allow editing any files. I can only view files. So I downloaded Google docs to edit file.
After finding Google Docs was quite good, I decided to uninstall Office 365, and it got uninstalled! I thought Samsung might not be allowing to uninstall Microsoft apps and just disable it.
I still have Outlook and OneDrive apps which sync well with Organization account.
