@RKhan21 Yes bro you are right 😯, from 2-3 months I'm noticing a JioAirfiberA6 wifi name is appearing on many of my devices. Initially i thought it was some neighbour's airfiber wifi name but when my airfiber was installing, the installation guy told me that I'm the first in this area who install any airfiber connection. So at that time i got confused, but now i fully understand.

At the time of installation they alinging the antenna to the tower by connecting a small black box to the odu through lan and get the signal information on mobile that i think connected to that box. And A6 is also mentioned in their phone in that process.

So this wifi repeater connection is better or limited as compared to proper airfiber 5g connection?🤔

It fluctuate sometimes. And sometimes not responding at all for few seconds.

@aftabIN It's just like tikona network using WiFi for providing Broadband services instead of 5G now

@priya123 airfiber plus connection is feasible at my location so jio give me plus connection instead of normal airfiber 5g connection. Jio 5g tower is very near from my house and my building has pass the minimum height criteria atleast (3 floors) to install plus connection. They also installed the splitter at the terrace so that any nearby house can get the connection from that splitter without the need to install another ubr antenna.

@priya123 I'm unable to get ipv6 gateway address on my mac. I have connected the lan cable coming from poe adapter which is use to insert in idu. I think it is because of splitter in between?🤔

@k14prasad @priya123 @rohit267 guys I managed to login to odu through lan in windows and in mac it wasn’t just loading.
Also I tried to access it over WiFi as suggested by @k14prasad by connecting the rj45 to wan port, I was able to get the ipv6 address assigned by the ODU, but when tried to login through the ipv6 address it just doesn’t load over WiFi, tried in different devices and browser, I cross checked the ipv6 that was assigned it was the same which was assigned when connected on lan, have you guys tried it over WiFi? Please suggest

Also guys I noticed my Ethernet connection speed is only limited to 100mbps in ODU and not 1000mbps, I checked the cable and cat 5e cable is used. That’s why my speed was never going above 100Mbps it was limiting to 93 max.
what’s the reason for limitation? No physical damaged in cable observed.

Guys, I complained to PGPortal, it got forwarded to DGM, Radha Niar. From there, got a call and they raised a new service request. Usual technician guy came running and called their TGH( Call center with real engineers I guess). He raised a callback from Level 2 TGH.

L2 TGH asked if router is connected to a socket which is connected to UPS? ( I was like duh). He said wifi will have fluctuations if connected to UPS line ( Which seems bullshit). Asked me to test to a socket which does not have UPS line.

We are having a power outage in my area.
Can anyone confirm this?
