Frequent Disconnections

Has it got something to do with how you connect the modem?I was using it through the USB and was having frequent disconnections. Now with ethernet it is stable.Not an assertion just an observation.

after many a trips to the MTNL exchange the technician has come to a conclusion that now its a problem with the server .. it seems he has got many complaints with people facing disconnections especially when downloading stuff , on the Charkop exchange ...so if any one of you from charkop exchange is also facing disconnections please reply ... so that at least i'll come to know that its really a server problem ...

i did the whole config given in the frst post my stats r lyk thisSNR Margin 32.0db 19.0db dBLine Attenuation 34.5db 20.5db dBLoss of Signal 0 0 CRC Errors 2 0 Data Rate 2048 Kbps 256 Kbps kbpsLatency Fast Fastwat shud the value of snr be to not get these frequent disconnections ??????
